Our Mission
Associated Contractors of NM (ACNM)
Associated Contractors of New Mexico (ACNM), one of 95 chartered members of the Washington, DC based Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), is the statewide chapter representing the transportation/utility construction industry in New Mexico. Established in 1925, ACNM’s membership currently includes over 160 Contractors, Subcontractors, Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Professional Service firms, employing nearly 10,000 New Mexico workers. The stated mission of ACNM is to provide our membership an opportunity to work collectively in enhancing the performance and representation of our members, to promote the respect and integrity of our industry, and to improve the quality of life in the State of New Mexico through collaboration with our various industry partners. ACNM is dedicated to continually providing valuable services to our membership, focusing in areas such as workforce development, legislative & regulatory issues, jobsite safety, political action, business development, and industry image. Many of these membership services are developed and delivered through a variety of committees and task forces comprised of ACNM members, agency representatives, and other key partners within our industry. Additionally, ACNM works in partnership with AGC to deliver membership resources from a national perspective that serve to maximize our ability to address the diverse needs of our membership. The staff and members of ACNM are committed to promote our organization, as well as our industry, in such a way that our core values are evident in everything we do. These values include: SKILL demonstrated by quality, competence, and education, INTEGRITY demonstrated by ethical, honest, and credible behavior, RESPONSIBILITY demonstrated by our commitment to deliver value to our members and customers, COMMUNITY demonstrated by participating and serving with our neighbors and industry partners. ACNM is proud to be recognized as one of the most active and effective trade associations in New Mexico. We will constantly strive to maintain our focus on our mission while remaining true to our values, and pledge to continue to be the powerful and respected voice for New Mexico’s transportation/utility construction community. |
