Urban sprawl concerns cloud Florida toll-road proposal
Plans to build three major toll-roads and a jet fuel pipeline to
Orlando International Airport that will link Central Florida with
big east coast highways has spurred fear of community and
environmental loss. "Virtually, all these roads pass through
must-save places in Central Florida," said Linda Chapin, director of
the University of Central Florida's Metropolitan Center for Regional
Studies.

New guidelines in hospital design expected next month will have the
minimum requirement that most new hospitals include single-patient

Pond alleviates Florida community's flooding problem
Engineers in Jupiter, Fla., constructed a 10-acre, 1,400-foot-long
