The Associated Contractors of New Mexico works hard to ensure the construction industry's voice is heard. Working with national, state, and local legislative leadership on vital issues affecting the construction industry, ACNM provides direct access to meet elected officials and government decision makers, including hands on participation in lobbying efforts and bill creation.
Advocating for You
Working to develop support within the New Mexico construction industry for political actions, initiatives, and programs of the chapter and the National AGC, we work to proactively represent the chapter and the industry before state and local government bodies.
Legislative Session
The 2026 New Mexico Legislative Session convenes at noon on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Associated Contractors of New Mexico will actively engage throughout the session to advocate for policies that support the heavy highway construction industry, workforce development, and responsible infrastructure investment.
