Safety

The ACNM Safety Committee provides opportunities for safety professionals from all industries to meet, network, and receive safety information.  The Safety Committee receives updates from representatives of New Mexico Occupational Safety Health Administration (NM OSHA), and New Mexico Mine Safety and Health Administration (NM MSHA).

The bi-monthly Safety Committee meetings focus on Lessons Learned where participants can share real-world situations and outcomes to inform and educate peer safety professionals. Guest speakers present cutting-edge safety equipment and processes to keep our teams safe.

This meeting is open to ALL!

  • Building contractors
  • Safety supply representatives
  • Heavy equipment representatives
  • Other Safety professionals

    • Bernalillo County

    • Barricading companies
    • Insurance companies
    • NM Gas Co.

 

Safety Committee normally meets on the second Friday of even months – February, April, June, August, October, and December – at the ACNM facility in Albuquerque, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., closing with a lunch sponsored by industry volunteers.
